Governors

A message

From the Chair of Governors

Arden Forest Governors want the school to offer an environment that cares for its children, families and staff. We want our school to succeed in all that it does and play its part in the local community.

Our role as a Governing Body is to support the school’s leadership team by acting as a critical friend, reviewing and monitoring all aspects of school life to ensure that our children’s first school years are enjoyable and rewarding.

We also have overall responsibility for maintaining standards within the school, setting the budget and for developing the future strategy for the school. The strength of any Governing Body is based on being able to listen to stakeholders and on obtaining access to specialist skills.

Talk to us

We are always keen to listen to parents, staff and children. If you would like to get in touch with us, please do so via the school office.

We actively welcome Parents views on how we could be more accessible and share our vision for the School.

Getting involved and specialist skills

If you would like to be a Governor we would be happy to talk to you about the role and how / when you could be elected or appointed but you can also get involved without being a Governor. We are always happy to hear from parents who can help.
